Research focused on the preparation, characterisation and analysis of largely polymer-based materials capable of reacting selectively to a variety of biochemical environments found in vivo. A multi-disciplinary project, this work encompassed organic, polymer and biomaterials chemistry, together with cell biology.Funded by a competitively-awarded Warwick Postgraduate Research Scholarship (application success rate of 10%)
