About Daniel Piro

I am a senior at the University of Connecticut where I am currently pursuing a bachelor's of science degree in engineering physics (mechanical engineering concentration) and a minor in mathematics. I enjoy problems that require both hands-on skills and theoretical mathematical/physical/engineering knowledge. I also am competent in CAD software, such as NX and Autodesk Inventor.In my free time, I enjoy participating in Drum Corps International, Drum Corps Associates, and Winter Guard International (percussion division). I have spent the last 7 years learning and performing rudimentary percussion, specifically on the marching snare drum.
