1. Provides information and guidance to subordinate Senior Managers on all matters related to the Recover Care Office (RCO) Operations. Provides input and guidance necessary for formulating, interpreting and applying major management policies, principles, and procedures within areas such as integration of newly assigned Soldiers; military and civilian personnel training relating to the RCO; leveraging information management to virtually collocate the organization; safety, legal, environmental, public affairs, quality control/assurance areas; and integrating into long-range and strategic/business planning. Participates fully with the Director in providing leadership and guidance in areas of responsibility. 2. Responsible for the overall management of daily operations within the Recovery Care Office (RCO). Conducts administrative review of nomination packets and coordination of patient movement between Overseas Continental United States (OCONUS) and Continental United States (CONUS) geographical locations according to clinical capabilities, availability and Soldier’s support network.3. Develops management techniques, systems and practices in support of the RCO Operations. Recommends necessary organizational and functional changes based upon the results of these studies utilizing Process Improvements Plans. Participates in long range and strategic/business planning and recommends development and direction of command objectives. Develops overall Program capability on requirements for short- and long-range plans. Provides for continuity of operations during rotation of commanders.

1. Serves as the Assistant Lead Case Manager for Landstuhl Regional Medical Center and its geographic area of responsibility. Managing a rotating case load of 60-80 clients and Five Staff Members while meeting and exceeding deadlines and customer service. Counsels’ personnel being medically processed out of the Army on their rights, benefits, privileges, or obligations. 2. Must communicate effectively with belligerent/angry or extremely frustrated Clients and Family members; understanding their fears and concerns and be able to obtain their confidence and trust. Must know when and how to refer to appropriate sources etc. Must have extensive knowledge in automation equipment usage to document progress, concerns or other issues relevant to the Soldiers case. Makes entries and updates the appropriate databases as cases progress. Provides statistical information to Mid and High-level managements on the status of the cases processing effectiveness, resourcing, and other related managerial and congressional purposes. Generates standard and customized management reports and charts.

1. Serve as the Army Hearing Program Coordinator for Fort Wainwright, AK and all test sites which operate the Army Hearing equipment. Ensure test sites are adequately staffed for the mission with personnel and supplies. Prepare documents, letter of instruction and other correspondence regarding implementation and compliance. 2. Serves as a Hearing Safety Officer in the Army Hearing Program, and personnel ensuring all standards are met. Responsible for developing new approaches, innovative, and unique methods of problem solving and evaluation. 3. Serves as an Army hearing authority, advisor, and consultant to the Army Hearing Program Manager on hearing and health matters relating to the Army Hearing Program. Analyzes specific problems, helps determine the proper approach, and assists in the development of plans and protocols to accomplish assigned projects. Conducts management analysis studies and special projects to detect needed improvements and recommend solutions.

Participated in meetings affecting long and short-range courses of action for the team. Provided input to leadership regarding staffing and Soldier issues. Served as the Organizations Senior Medical Asset to assist the Senior Physician with Medical updates and accountability. 3. Served as a Safety Manager for the organization and conducted physical inspections of multiple training facilities to ensure safety was always followed and in compliance with proper rules and regulations. 4. Serves as the Clinic Manager for Bassett Army Community Hospital Specialty Clinics to include Dermatology, Ear Nose and Throat Clinic and Audiology. Ensures section personnel are provided training in the specific responsibilities of their assigned jobs. Assists in the preparation of lesson plans, securing of training aids, and the documentation and coordination of external instructors, as required. Ensured all employees were up to date on licensing and training requirements in accordance with Standards and regulations.
