Under the supervision of the Ellis Recreation Commission board, I assure that there are sufficient and quality programs, activities, and special events for the general public; by planning, directing, coordinating, supervising, and evaluating all aspects of the Ellis Recreation Commission. Responsibilities include oversight of all programs, include league scheduling, recruiting of volunteer coaches, preparation of marketing material, supervision of staff and volunteers. Perform administrative office duties that include payroll, budget preparation, and preparation of daily/monthly reports, answering and fielding phone calls. Cooperates with fellow staff, area school districts, and other community agencies and organizations to assure that facilities are utilized at the maximum level of efficiency, and that all such facilities are adequately supervised and maintained during all programs and activities sponsored by the Ellis Recreation Commission. Responsible for the maintenance and supervision of a soccer field, five baseball field, fairground, 18 hole disk golf course, school gyms, outdoor tennis courts, sand volleyball court, and outdoor basketball courts.

Under the guidance of the Executive Director, I was an contributing member of the leadership team. Responsibilities include coordinating and assisting in the development, planning, organizing, and administration of the youth sports programs for the YMCA and surrounding communities. These responsibilities include league scheduling, recruiting of volunteer coaches, preparation of marketing material, administration of the after school program that includes scheduling and supervision of staff and volunteers.
