I am a Chartered Accountant with over 24 years accounting experience across a broad range of sectors. I have a natural inclination towards highly entrepreneurial, ambitious commercial enterprises and am accustomed to being thrown into the deep end. I have been working with IFRS consolidations since my first commercial role 20 years ago in a European head office.I have been heavily involved in the rollout of multiple software implementations. I have mastered FMIS and BI reporting suites from Xero through to enterprise level applications like MYOB Exo, Finance One, SAP and Epicor. I have exceptional excel skills and have successfully presented highly complex excel based models to several leading corporate advisory teams in Brisbane and Sydney, receiving praise for their innovation and efficiency. I have also been utilising these skills to develop bespoke business intelligence tools for over fifteen years. I thoroughly enjoy managing and mentoring high performing teams. I have supervised and nurtured a diverse range of people from non-accounting staff, to accountants undergoing the CA program, through to senior accountants. I have an approachable and open communication style that fosters trust and drives productivity.I have designed, delivered and presented short, medium and long term wholistic forecast models to the executive and board level of multiple organisations from small multi-million dollar enterprises to investment managers with several billion dollars of Assets Under Management. I have overseen the production of hundreds of general purpose financial reports and managed the audit engagement with several Tier 1 audit teams.
