At GO Associados I worked in economic-financial viability analysis and regulatory consultancy projects for infra-structure companies. My work consisted in analysis of concession contracts, financial statements and demographic data to perform financial modelling of projects, elaboration of reports and creation of metrics and indicators.

The objective of this project was to map slaughterhouses in the Amazon region of Brazil and analyse the relation of the slaughterhouses presence, socio-economic variables and deforestation. My job consisted in creating a database with georeferenced slaughterhouses data for each state of the Brazilian Amazon and Cerrado. Using the softwares R and Stata, I wrote computational algorithms to import from the web (webscrapping), clean, validated and merge data from different sources to create a consolidated panel database. I also calculated indexes and indicators, like the HH market concentration index.

My work at Arsae consisted in participation in tariff readjustment calculation for water companies operating in Minas Gerais state aplying the agency's methodology of incentive regulations: development of excel spreadsheets to analyse financial data, check data consistency and calculate indexes and indicators; development of studies about the capital structure of water supply companies in Brazil and around the world, writing technical reports and manuals about regulatory methodologies.
