Prior US Army Aviation Safety Officer and UH-60M Blackhawk Pilot turned Project Engineer for an Industrial Contractor

• Managed the Commander's Safety Program for 55 Soldiers, 10 Blackhawk Helicopters, and all associated ground support operations including fire prevention, crew endurance, hearing conservation, Foreign Object Debris (FOD) mitigation, HAZMAT/HAZCOM management, and coordination of all required safety related training• Advised leadership on aspects of Risk Management by identifying and analyzing potential risk and implementing mitigation techniques during day to day operations and large-scale training events• Served as a Mission Briefing Officer tasked to help fellow pilots analyze their missions and apply relevant risk mitigation techniques

• Safely conducted complex aviation and training missions, leading a crew of 4 in an aircraft valued at $17 million • Trained junior pilots on proper air assault mission planning and execution while operating in the U.S. National Airspace and Europe in support of Operation Atlantic Resolve• Organized and facilitated Safety Stand-Down Day training for a Battalion of more than 300 personnel that incorporated subject matter experts from Fort Riley and the surrounding communities

• Operated as a member of a team during planning, preparation, and execution of precise aviation missions while deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and during numerous large training exercises• Proven ability to remain flexible and operate under pressure as evidenced by a constantly evolving mission set and frequent leadership turnover• Served as the Unit Movement Officer for the Battalion's return from Afghanistan, coordinating the shipment of 30 helicopters and 15 containers of military equipment

•Served as the Platoon Sargent’s vehicle gunner entrusted to operate heavy turret-mounted weapons as necessary to defend the platoon while deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom
