I work at the intersection of private finance and international development to advance knowledge and create innovative solutions to finance sustainable development and climate mitigation and resilience. This fuels my research, teaching, and service as a full Clinical Professor and Director of the Master of International Affairs degree program at the O'Neill School, ranked #2 in the U.S. and #5 globally in public affairs.I am a preeminent global expert in blended finance, and I maintain senior level advisory and consulting roles at organizations such as the OECD, World Economic Forum, Center for Global Development, and United Nations as well as several sovereign countries. I further serve as an expert fellow at the African Center for Economic Transformation. I am deeply committed as an educator to build the capacity of my students to be critical thinkers and serve in faculty leadership roles to advance the mission of the university. My ability to make a meaningful impact today is supported by a strong foundation. I previously worked as an investment banker for Citigroup in the United States and France specializing in economic advisory, debt management, and capital raising for sovereign governments in Europe, Africa, and Asia and securitization programs for corporations primarily in Latin America, the Caribbean, and Japan. Earlier, I worked as a management consultant for Booz Allen Hamilton, PricewaterhouseCoopers, and Information Resources on a range of strategic issues for Fortune 500 companies, technology start-ups, and the U.S. government. I proudly support both the Jumbos and Wolverines where I earned a Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy from the Fletcher School at Tufts University and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan, respectively.
