When March 2020 began, so did a big problem. We had worked with hundreds of law firms since getting started 5 years ago but had focused entirely on estate planning firms heading into 2020.Our bigger partners who had been packing the house for seminars for years just got their biggest channel shut down when shelter-in-place measures were implemented and asked us, “what now?”After 2 months under the gun, we successfully adopted the seminar model online, replacing in-person presentations with online webinars and direct mail invitations with online traffic. We were happy when we saw the registrations coming in but when that first firm told us they were closing 3 trust-based planning packages that’s when we really got excited.We knew we were on to something when we switched it on and got the same results in market after market. Louisiana to Los Angeles. And not only multi-office practices, we were getting these results for solos and even true solos as well. The bigger firms had a hole to fill, sure, but for the first time the small firms were able to escape fighting for scraps on channels like Google and Avvo and enjoy the level of understanding prospect that you can only get from an educational sale.We’ve been running with it ever since. Our goal is to hit 100 practices this year and we’re well on the way.
