Leading and supervising a team of Estimators and support staff to successful project delivery outcomes.Managing the delivery of estimating programs and projects particularly those deemed high risk, significant or complex in nature.Producing high quality estimates and quotation documentation for building projects, ensuring compliance with the State Purchasing Policy, Minor Works, local instructions and tendering and contract methods, and client requirements.Undertaking research and development in project planning, budgeting, estimating, programming, delivery processes and procurement practices.Reporting on relevant estimating projects and/or programs providing information on volume, requests, clients, locations, acceptance rates, costs, schedule of rates, margins and productivity.Maintaining a healthy and safe work environment, ensuring compliance with current human resource practices and principles, including employment equity, anti-discrimination and workplace health and safety.Enhancing client relationships through effective communication, sound negotiation and the provision of timely, professional, competitive estimates.
