Hello,My name is Daniel Richardson. I have several years experience in the hospitality industry as a server and was noted for being a reliable worker during that time. I have over two years experience as a stagehand for the prestigious Texas Tech Allen Theater helping set up and run various events, such as presidential lectures and live concerts, that occurred in the Allen. I also have three years of event management experience through running student organizations at Texas Tech University. I'm now currently a Bars and Concessions supervisor with Levy corporation at one of the largest convention centers in America, the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston Texas.In this role, I lead a team that can range from less than five to dozens in understanding management and client expectation for an event and executing it. This includes inventory management, organization and upkeep of my space, and the active coordination of those I'm working with to set up events, run them, and break them down. I have a Bachelors of the Arts in History and a Masters of Sciences in Hospitality and Retail Administration. During my time getting my masters I also worked as a teaching assistant for two different instructors. I also spent a large amount of my college career as an event and community organizer of one of the largest recreational events on Texas Tech campus held every semester. I have experience in using Microsoft Office Programs as well as Adobe Premiere and Photoshop.I'm well regarded by my peers for my intelligence, work ethic, ability to adapt quickly to a new situation and keep a level head under pressure, as well as come up with new ideas and examining problems in ways others had not considered.
