Uzun + Case LLC is a structural engineering firm that operates out of Midtown Atlanta. As one of the largest structural engineering offices in the Southeast, we focus on the design of significant building projects throughout the continental United States, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and the Caribbean. Worked primarily with the support staff of the firm to enable a productive working environment, whether that be by aiding the accounting department with billing, the IT department by uploading files, or helping individuals manage project details.

Tara Theater 4 - Atlanta, Ga

Originally called Loew's Tara, the theater's name memorializes the fictional Tara plantation, home of the O'Hara family in Margaret Mitchell's novel Gone with the Wind. Tara opened with a 70mm presentation of the film Gone with the Wind in 1968.Working at this historic theater provided me the opportunity to work under pressure, communicate with customers and coworkers, and juggle many responsibilities at once. Since it was a small theater with only a few people working at a time, you had to be engaged constantly and filling whatever role was required.

Chamblee, Ga

Participated in the first Internship program between DeKalb County and the Georgia Department of Transportation. Learned how a government department is funded, managed, and organized by working in multiple departments and projects.Started in the Traffic Operations Department, then moved to Utilities, Pre-Construction, Construction, and finally Land Management. Internship culminated with a report back to the administration on the merits of the program and a mock redesign of an arterial road.
