Fast Lane is part of a world-wide company and offers a broad array of advanced hands-on vendor-authorized IT training classes including Cisco Systems, NetApp, VMware as well as vendor-neutral courses developed in-house.Fast Lane US is a rapidly growing company that is looking for an enthusiastic intern to join the marketing department and provide creative ideas to help achieve our goals. You will have administrative duties in developing and implementing marketing strategies. You must be able to work on your own, but also as a team to help support the emerging marketing efforts of the company. Key responsibilities will be, but not limited to: • Assist in marketing activities (e.g. social media, email and web)• Support the marketing team in daily administrative tasks• Help coordinate marketing events• Manage, promote and run webinars through the WebEx platform• Review existing marketing copy for clarity, grammar, effectiveness, accuracy, etc. and update as appropriateQualifications• Current enrollment in a related BS degree• Very strong writing skills are required• Must be a highly motivated self-starter• Must be extremely organized and able to work well with employees at all levels in the organization• Solid understanding of different marketing techniques• Excellent knowledge of MS Office• Familiarity with marketing software and online applications (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite, Google analytics and html)• Passion for the marketing industry and its best practices• Strong communication and presentation skills.• Project Management experience
