I never knew at 12 years old that I would be living a career in Aerospace. Living, because I breathe aircraft (everything shy of having a jet fuel scented candle at my desk). It’s been about 17 years and I’m not settled. I have spent half of my life learning and experiencing many different things in this industry, that I cannot envision an end in sight. Three words to describe my career thus far: Impact, Impacting, Impactful…IMPACT: From the experienced structural mechanic that taught me how to have an eye for precision when working with finished composite assemblies (for an LO platform) and kept me “in-line” (18 year old maturity was my weakness) with his sternness and storytelling, to the bonds built with those I spent many years with, this industry has impacted the steps I take today.IMPACTING: Because of the nature of what I have been a part of, I know what I did is impacting those who operate the platform and the nation who’s platform(s) are defending…USA! USA! USA!IMPACTFUL: There is nothing more rewarding in my opinion, than having someone come up to you and thank you personally for a specific contribution. Whether it was a product of a discussion, or the results of job well done…being impactful to those around me is an ongoing life goal.Professional Experience: Lockheed Martin, Palmdale, CA (12.5 years). Wide array of skillsets in Composites Manufacturing (10 years) on LO Platforms, Supply Chain/Production Control (1 year), Fleet Vehicle Management, and even Property/Asset Management (1.5 years).Scaled Composites, Mojave, CA (8 months). Composites Manufacturing on prototype aircraft.Northrop Grumman, Palmdale, CA and Melbourne, FL (3 years and counting).
