-Responsible for researching key stakeholders to assess business development, relationship strengthening, and conflict resolution opportunities. Plan for future engagements involving the Commanding General and SES to capitalize on these opportunities. -Develop business process and continuously improve existing processing using lean six sigma practices. -Lead working groups-Plan / execute events - governance boards and strategic management reviews involving several organizations that are intended to address organizational issues and make decisions to resolve them. -Develop Strategic Plans - sustain strategic management competency-Serve as the Quality Manager and Business Process Improvement (BPI) Manager.

-Served as team leader of the Computer Aided Design and Drafting (CADD) and Building Information Modeling (BIM) group. -Created chief level metrics & submitted them w/ the status report. These metrics were useful for Engineering to monitor workload by branches & identify branch deficiencies. -Recognized lack of EN software skills & took initiative to train team on software & DR processes. This involved one on one training but was needed in moving forward and not maintaining status quo. Anticipated & adjudicated conflicts shown w/in DR comments & P&P report development. This involved mitigating personnel concerns (morale, org value) that delved into supervisory level info. -Served as the Engineer quality control manager. Involved in reviewing Architect-Engineer quality control plans, revising Engineering's (EN) quality control plan & project checklists, and serving as the independent technical review (ITR) manager. Created the EN ITR process, trained EN branches and implemented the process for ITRs. Used Dr. Checks (obtained site administrator role) as the tool to record and track comments for ITRs.

-Supported efforts to create, manage, and audit technical design reviews for the systems engineering directorate of the expeditionary fighting vehicle (an acquisition category ACAT 1D program). These efforts consisted of the following: * Developed and maintained design review processes for all design review levels (component, subsystem, and system). * Trained and provided support to government personnel on design review processes. * Audited design reviews at least monthly to ensure the review was conducted in accordance with the design review process and the design documentation was reviewed properly. * Approved component level reviews (about 100 reviews) as they occurred by serving as independent technical authority. * Provided weekly, technically sound and accurate design review progress status reports.* Identified and notified appropriate government personnel of trouble spots within a day of discovery. Implemented corrective actions to resolve these trouble spots. * Managed and allocated resources (analyzed workload) to ensure design reviews were properly supported (staffed) with an independent technical authority for all component level preliminary and critical design reviews. *Oversaw and managed on average 3 support contractors and distributed workload amongst the contractor staff. * Assessed system development and demonstration (SDD-2) contract for design review scope and resource allocations. -Led the effort to develop an electronic web based automated design review tool that enables comments against design documentation to be easily tracked and accessible for technical authorities to review them and adjudicate any issues between the design proposed by the contractor and the concerns of the government. The tool streamlined the artifact review phase of the design review process.

-I have real world experience onboard submarines. I have ridden approximately 23 different submarines including the LOS ANGELES, OHIO, SEAWOLF, and VIRGINIA classes. My experience includes spending multiple days onboard which enabled me to better understand the strenuous day-to-day operations that the ship crew must undergo. This experience also showed me firsthand how the onboard equipment such as sonar, machinery, and weapons get used by the crew. -Led T&E Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to plan, schedule, execute and document submarine acoustic evaluations of submarine hull, mechanical, electronic, ship systems.-Led T&E Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to plan, schedule, execute and document submarine acoustic evaluations of submarine hull, mechanical, electronic, ship systems.-Led a team to use LEAN Value Stream Analysis to analyze processes within NAVSEA and determine ways to streamline existing processes to make them more efficient. Led IPTs to use risk management tools to determine the best course of action on problems that needed immediate resolution. -Reviewed advanced design, prototype, and R&D proposals for noise control and technical purposes. I ensured that new degradations were not introduced as a result of installing such designs.
