I have vast experience in the Meteorology and Oceanography fields however I believe my passion and key attributes lie within managing people, strong leadership and delivering results under pressure. Whilst my commercial experience is limited, in my 13-year career as a Naval Officer I have a proven management and leadership track record for delivering results and exceeding expectations in the toughest scenarios, often in arduous conditions. I believe my professionalism, time management, working to tight deadlines and delivering results in these high-pressure situations are transferrable skills that will equip me well for senior leadership roles within many commercial fields and distinguish me from my civilian peers. In addition, I have a wealth of coaching and mentoring experience, utilizing my strong interpersonal skills to motivate both peers and subordinates. I believe these attributes will not only enable me to deliver results in a Senior Leadership role, but to also positively contribute to the development and performance of the staff for the overall progression and success of the business.
