Quality Engineer

Created various designs with Fusion 360 for the development of training content for Drive-AM. Also developed training slides on Scan Strategies and Laser Powder Bed Fusion (LPBF). Assisted in the trainings by demonstrating how dimensional and surface roughness measurements of the printed parts are taken with the Keyence VR 5000

Primarily focused on coding customized scan strategies using Netfabb's Advanced Toolpath Utility (ATU) decreasing overall build time and improved print quality. Operated Keyence VR 5000 to obtain images of as-built parts and obtained surface roughness roughness measurements and dimensional values.

Conducted research on the topic of Smart Cities with the faculty from The University of Guadalajara and The University of Texas at El Paso. The research teams consisted of interdisciplinary graduate and undergraduate students. The final product of the research was an API platform containing resources and a social interface for the creation of an app that encourages the senior citizens of Guadalajara to get more involved into society.
