Throughout my life, I have volunteered at summer camps such as in Hollenbeck Park, and Los Angeles Team Mentoring. Using these experiences, I learned how to work through challenges so that I can improve as a worker. I am am able to speak both English and Spanish and am certified in Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED. When I interned at Compassion Connection, I had to work with the homeless population in which I was consistently communicating with them and preventing any arguments or fights inside the building. I would also schedule them for appointments and sign them in using the agencies computer. I would also help them with anything they need such as, schedueling doctor appointments, and finding a place to live. When I interned at EL ARCA, I worked with underdeveloped adults, in which created several case reports, where I developed a goal for the client and their ovjectives. There I was constantly documenting everything I did with my clients and submitted all my documents and reports to my supervisor for review. While working with Butterfly Effects, I worked with children who have autism. I would help them with school work, managing their behaviors, and mastering their individual goals.
