As a member of the… Show more Daniel Roth is the Vice President and CFO of Community West Foundation and oversees operating and financial management including accounting for the organization’s $160 million in assets, budgeting, tax, audit, regulatory compliance, human resources, information technology and facilities functions for the organization.Dan joined the Foundation in 2008, as an accountant, and was promoted to Chief Financial Officer in 2013, and Vice President and CFO in 2021. As a member of the Foundation’s leadership team, Dan works with banks, investment consultants and custodians to monitor the investment portfolio. He contributes to the Finance, Investment and Audit Committees, and presents financial and investment updates to the Board of Directors. Every year under Dan’s direction, the Foundation has received an unmodified opinion, the highest rating given from its external auditors. Dan’s expertise and skills help advance the Foundation’s vision and mission and have added to the overall success of the organization. In addition, he places an emphasis on continuing the development of relationships with the Foundation’s most important assets, its donors.Prior to joining Community West, Dan held various positions of increasing scope and responsibility for sixteen years in manufacturing, from production lines to managing production flow and materials logistics.Dan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from the University of Akron and a Master of Business Administration with a finance focus from Kent State University Graduate School of Management.
