I joined the Aegis London team in May 2015 where my main responsibilities are to underwrite a profitable new and renewal book of International Casualty business. Negotiation of participation, pricing and terms and conditions with ownership of accounts / clients. Looking to develop and maintain strong relationships with brokers and clients with a key focus on innovation, new products and looking for key new business distribution channels for the Syndicate. Key Responsibilities Include;Underwrite Profitable business Underwrite new and renewal accounts to meet top and bottom line targets Negotiate participation, pricing and terms and conditions with brokers. Proactively manage capacity Underwriting Approach and Compliance Underwrite in line with Aegis framework, guidelines, rules and principles Ensure accurate policy documentation issued to broker File maintenance – ensure file is established (whether electronic or paper) and maintained for each risk and transaction handled Support Underwriting Strategy & Leadership Proactively support acquisition of new business and retention of existing business (including client and broker negotiations where necessary) Currently I have various projects ongoing working with Aegis Management team and Lloyd's to develop new revenue streams for the Syndicate and broker networks that we work with.
