While working with The Hartford I handled Property Damage claims for auto accidents. A claim for damage would be assigned and I would investigate the claim by contacting all parties involved, obtaining statements and obtain any other documents to help determine liability such as police IR accident reports. I would determine liability (fault), set up inspections and repairs and issue payments for the damaged to the customer or shops. I also served on the employee relations committee and was a mentor to newly hired employees.

I'm an MGT and learning the day to day functions and how to run a Walgreens store. I have always felt that in order to run a store or company you need to know it from the ground up. Right now I am learning stock and inventory, receiving, and many other daily tasks. Hoping I can learn things fast enough because i'm looking to move up quick. I never settle for 2nd tier and always am striving for something more.

This was my opening into the business world. I worked accounts payable and accounts recievable. I was also involved with and on occasion still help the owner out with creating new Purchase orders, Invoicing, and creating more effecient ways of running his business. In the 2 plus years I was there working for Mr. Pinto I like to feel that I was part of the reason that his sales were at an all time high. Creating an efficient procedure of running his day to day tasks helped create much quicker turnover time back to the customer.
