Responsible for providing technical, tactical leadership and accountability for cybersecurity-related initiatives, digital modernization and disaster recovery related exercises for the western BMS sites. Working with the sites business units (Manufacturing, Engineering, Facilities, and Quality) on operating system and application level patch updates, vulnerability remediations, dynamic and static application vulnerability scanning, and risk assessments for their respective manufacturing environments. Worked with the BMS MSSP on threats detected in the manufacturing networks and triaging work based on the NIST cybersecurity framework. Delivering external network, internal network, web application, phishing, and vishing projects. Along with providing reporting that covers all areas from executives to technical minded people.Familiar with working with the CIA triad security model, Penetration Execution Standard (PTES), NIST Cybersecurity Framework, and MITRE Attack framework (Enterprise) around engagements.

Phoenix, Arizona Area

• Lead system administrator to setup, troubleshoot, and maintain LAN /WAN computerized systems, networks, and security for the laboratory and manufacturing environments at the Phoenix site.• Plan, lead, and execute projects related to the implementation and support of the laboratory and manufacturing software/systems/networks.• Subject matter expert for the computerized systems, laboratory software, and networks during internal and external FDA audits.• Understand emerging information technologies as they would help benefit the laboratory and manufacturing systems.• Opens and manages change controls, CAPA’s, and supports activities within the quality process as required.• Provides coaching and development of junior members of the Informatics team.• Plan, coordinate, and participate in the validation process of new and existing laboratory and manufacturing systems to ensure compliance to 21 CFR Part-11 FDA requirements.

Phoenix, Arizona Area

• Setup, administrate and maintain LAN/WAN for over 300 users.• Network administration and maintenance of a 500+ node Cisco LAN/WAN.• Server maintenance on Novell Netware 5.0, 6.0, Microsoft Windows NT, 2000, 2003, and 2008 Active Directory environment. Also Debian, Linux, Sun UNIX, VMware Server 2.0, VMware ESX 3.5/4.1/5.x and As400 systems.• Performed custom C# programming for the manufacturing and desktop support departments.• Created simple login scripts on a site by site basis.• Daily administration of Nortel Meridian and Avaya phone switches.• Familiar with FDA CFR Part 11 compliance and change control procedures in a qualified manufacturing / laboratory environment.

Contract with Steris Pharmaceutical to convert Netware servers to version 6.0 as well as Microsoft servers. Upgrading existing infrastructure from 3Com hubs to Cisco 3550 switches. Also involved in migrating existing user base from 10MB/sec at the desktop to 100MB/sec where applicable. Servers mainly consisted of Compaq Proliant and Prosignia hardware.

• Built and administered a 600+ node Netware 5.1 cluster network for the Arthur Andersen General Motors project.• Designed and implemented Lotus Notes R5 cluster and a desktop backup solution for the SSC.• Replicated production LAN at the Sun guard disaster recovery facility.• Maintained LAN consisting of Windows 95, 98, NT, 2000 workstations, Cisco 2900-6000 series switches, and Cisco 2600-3600 routers.• Provide local area network support for the SSC.• Maintained changes to current documentation of all LAN components.• Managed LAN user access, rights, privileges, along with detecting, and prevented un-authorized use.

• Building and configuration of a Windows NT 3.51 server.• Making physical inventory of all computer related hardware and software the company owned.• Cabling and installation of a closed circuit television for security purposes.• Daily duties included administering and troubleshooting various problems that arise on an 80+ user Novell IPX/SPX, Windows 95, and Windows NT 3.51 network.• Day to day desktop computer support educating the end users on the software for their individual departments.

Contract with Baptist Health Systems in Phoenix Az. Daily duties included troubleshooting and maintaining computers on a multi server, multi domain 800+ user LAN, WAN. Network consists of servers running Microsoft NT 4.0, Novell 3.12, 4.11, 5.0, SCO Unix, and Digital Uniz NOS’s. Workstation operating systems included Windows 95, 98, NT Workstation 4.0, OS2, and PC DOS 2000. Major projects participated in were the FY98 PC150 rollout, which entailed deploying computers to the 5 supported hospitals. Duties also included troubleshooting everyday problems with the computers and servers.

• Conversion of Novell 3.11servers to version 4.11.• FY99 PC150 (Y2K) rollout, which entailed deploying computers to the 5 supported hospitals.• Conversion of the GroupWise company wide email system from 4.1 to 5.5.• Daily duties included troubleshooting and maintaining computers on a multi server, multiple domain 800+ user LAN / WAN.• Implementation and maintaining of DHCP, FTP and DNS servers.• Testing of new hardware and software before implementing them into the work area.

• Administer Power Macintosh System 7 based network running under AppleShare and it’s interfaces with Windows NT 3.51, Windows 95, Windows 3.11, and DOS based systems. • Performed testing, troubleshooting, training, and writing technical operating manuals for the hardware and software needs of the company and our clients. • Made recommendations and assisted in ordering equipment.• Wrote and delivered training materials to employees and clients.

Daily duties include working all positions on the production line building automotive air bag modules. Tech support for all the various production lines. Duties include cleaning and repairing hardware and software problems on production machines. Earned C.I.P. excellence award in 1996 while working with the rework team. Awarded perfect attendance in 95-96. Helped design and implement a new Chrysler production line in 95. Trained employees on the fundamentals of a production line and it’s machines. Helped implement new procedures on the production line for faster but safer operation.
