• A Sandia's representative to the ISO C++ and OpenMP committees focusing on future C++ capabilities for parallel and heterogeneous computing.• Co-designed Kokkos, a performance portability library, which allows developers to write performance portable applications targeting all major HPC platforms. Implemented and designed many lockfree data structures and algorithms for Kokkos, including a lockfree unordered map which scales to tens of thousands of simultaneous insertions.• Created a lockfree taskpool to support migrating codes using asynchronous many task frameworks to emerging exoscale architectures.

• Created models of essential national infrastructure, and used machine learning to identify potential points of failure to aid in response planing for naturals disasters.• Developed and refactored data structures and algorithms of large HPC multi-physics simulation codes to support emerging supercomputer architectures.

• Used GPGPU/CUDA to implement a high performance face recognition algorithm based on machine learning.• Created software to post-process LIDAR and HD video data to create and visual high fidelity 3D models.• Developed software to model and simulate the lifecycle of the mountain pine beetle.
