For as long as I can remember, I have always wanted to solve issues and improve the way things are done. Whether it’s my work as a Community Organizer or helping people fix their devices, I don’t see problems, I see opportunities to learn, grow, and build. In addition to finding solutions, I want to meet people wherever they are in life, skill, or ability in order to understand where they are coming from. I want to help people learn in a way that makes them feel accomplished, understood, and dignified.I pride myself on being able to learn from what works, and most importantly evaluating what didn’t work and using that data to adjust my plan to reach the desired outcome. I am a very hands-on individual that loves to learn through action. As a first generation Mexican American, the value of working hard, taking initiative, and trying my best is important in every aspect of my life, whether it’s in my work, my music career, or my role as a father.I believe that knowledge, skills, and power (the ability to act) needs to be shared. It’s important to me to not only develop myself but to help those that I’m working with to grow and develop as well. I live by the old adage “ steel sharpens steel“ and love to do so with patience and compassion.
