At Schramek & Associates (SNA), I worked on both accounting and tax related engagements. My role has developed and allowed me to take on high net worth tax work, providing controller functions, review preparations, training of staff, improve office procedures and lead engagements. Some of the SNA's clients' industries include real estate, auto dealers, and investment managing.

During my time at Newburg, I conducted and participated in accounting and assurance related engagements and prepared individual, partnership, corporate, gift, and trust tax returns for wealthy individuals and their closely held business.Accounting and assurance related engagements included financial statement compilations, reviews, and audits. Engagements included the firm’s largest clients and involved complex audit areas such as inventory and revenue recognition as well as internal control testing. In addition, I consulted in various roles including standardizing accounting procedures, policies used to streamline the accounting process at an organization. In addition to preparing tax returns, I performed the tax planning prior to year end. Other projects and work included assisting superiors with tax research and memorandums related to such issues as nexus, state tax issues, and projection of business acquisition tax effects.
