Daniel Santos is a Scientific Engineering Associate at Berkeley Lab. Colleagues describe him as "I had the pleasure of managing Daniel during his internship at BlackRock, where he joined as a Hallac Scholar during the summer of 2018. Over those several months, Daniel spent his time learning our team’s API platform, picking up Python, and contributing to the SDK built and maintained by the team. Daniel’s work required rapidly picking up new financial and technical concepts on the job, which can often present challenges for incoming interns. Daniel took that challenge head-on from the start and did a great job of progressively expanding his knowledge in both, eventually presenting his work to several senior members of BlackRock’s Digital Wealth group at the end of his summer. I would highly recommend Daniel to anyone looking for a talented engineer that can contribute on many different levels to an organization. I’m sorry I didn’t get to manage Daniel for more than the summer, but I look forward to seeing what he accomplishes in the future!"
