Truthfully, I stumbled into the manufacturing world, but in retrospect may have always been destined for it. I've always been a tinkerer at heart and have always been curious about how things work. Feel free to ask anyone who has known me about how many things I broke as a child, teen, and adult in the pursuit of knowledge!Originally, I was certain I was going to be a pilot, and my military service began with an appointment to the United States Air Force Academy. After a string of military assignments post-graduation, it was very clear I was a better engineer than a pilot.Moving to the private sector, I learned that I had a knack for business development and took more fulfillment from building teams than I did fixing problems myself, although I still like to get my hands dirty. The entire aerospace industry is a beautiful giant puzzle with shifting puzzle pieces. It's impossible to get bored with it. I'm now able to parlay my broad-based military & industry experience to offer technical expertise in team-building, engineering/analysis, process improvement, & project management. I have a successful track record in driving product improvement and process efficiency with the ability to see a project or test from design through final report. I work hard to develop strong leadership, communication, decision-making, briefing, presentation, and writing skills, and make it a point to forges collaborative working relationships and fosters a positive work environment.Unfortunately, none of this has translated to a lower golf score.
