I have been practicing and honing my craft in education for 18 years. I excel at instructional design and pride myself on an engaging delivery. My teaching and learning experiences span from New York to Texas, from cities to suburbs. I have served high need students in juvenile detention and guided students at the AP and IB levels. Primarily, I teach Social Studies, Civics, US and World History. I have also served as a Department Chair for Sycamore Springs Middle School and I previously coordinated school operations for Passages Academy. I have been recognized by the State Of Texas twice for my teaching accomplishments. I have won teacher awards within my school and, this past year, I won the Central Texas District Teacher of the Year from the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
