On graduating University with a First-Class BA (hons) degree I immediately undertook a role within an e-Gaming Sportsbook company where I utilised my sports knowledge and creativity to develop the company’s sportsbook website.I began my role with little experience of content management systems but soon adapted and quickly picked up the skills required to be an effective team member. I was nominated for a prestigious prize by team members for work ethic within my first year in the company and in my second year became one of the more senior figures amongst a team of 10 leading meetings and discussions. In my third year I was given the responsibility for business analysis and specification for the core systems used by the content management teams; defining and delivering business improvements for the end users of the systems, the consumers and automation to make the systems more efficient and save the team considerable time by removing manual processes.In this time, I have gained knowledge of the UK & European betting markets, worked alongside the UK CRM & Trading teams and have become the point of contact between the business analysis and development teams for the core systems used. During my time within the Sportsbook team I have shown myself to be a hard working individual that cares passionately about the work I deliver, with strong interpersonal and organisation skills. I’ve developed business analysis and specification skills to deliver business system improvements that have aided the team and the consumer.
