Project Administrator for the ERDF funded, UNITE plus programme at Lancaster University. In this role, I held an array of responsibilities relating to the administration, digital marketing and organisational side of the project. It was my responsibility to ensure communication is maintained between students and the small and medium sized businesses which they work for and keeping records in an easily accessible manner.

Chairman for a University political society since February 2021. This position entailed chairing society meetings, representing the society in conversations with the University and Students Union as well as administrative functions. Particular highlights, while in this role, was leading the largest active political society on campus, organising a charity bar sports event for Movember in 2021 and encouraging cooperation with various other societies.

General Secretary for a University political society. In this role, I was in charge discipline and disciplinary actions as well as taking and maintaining a record of minutes of all executive and general meetings and a record of the society’s social calendar. In addition, I ran all executive elections, constitutional amendments and the annual general meeting. A particular highlight of my time was authoring the society's first Code of Conduct document, ratified in summer 2020, which explicitly set out the behavioural expectations of society members.

This position involved taking a leading role in engaging with the student body to promote welfare and well-being of students. Throughout my tenure, I had successfully delivered a campaign, raising awareness for Men’s mental and physical health for Movember and was trained in mental health awareness first aid.

Vice-President of Cartmel College with a remit encompassing democracy and financial functions. Over the course of my tenure, I identified flaws in the democratic outreach in the college and adopted changes, such as hosting a live-streamed hustings event for elections and publishing weekly minutes, and this led to recognition from the Students Union in December 2019 for a notable increase in voter turnout for the college. I also acquired experience in financial stewardship and management.

During this internship, I took the responsibilities of leading the team and communicating with the NGO (Moonshot CVE) throughout the process and this resulted in a final project that was well-informed, relevant and useful for Moonshot CVE particularly regarding the realities of Modern Slavery activity within the South-West of England and this was affirmed through analysis of quantified data.

In this position, I supported the teaching staff in numeracy and literacy classes within the primary school.
