Server: September 2018 — Present. Take reservations, greet and seat guests. Take drink, appetizer, sushi, and dinner orders from customers and put them in the computer. Buss the table and meet customer needs during the meal. Handle payment in the computer, and clean and sanitize the front of the restaurant.Sushi Chef: February 2017 — August 2018 Process and prepare fish and other ingredients and inspect their quality. Prepare and plate sushi to order (rolls, nigiri, sashimi, etc.) and clean the sushi bar.

Conducted research into topics as directed by DeGraw. Attended weekly campaign Zoom meetings. Used Votebuilder, Callhub, and Phoneburner to cut lists and contact/interact with voters directly. Paid via stipend.

Used VAN to canvas door to door in rural Washington, set up signs, and attended and evaluated campaign events.

Measure, cut, package, and seal chocolate to meet quota while performing quality control.

Served customers, prepared food, restocked inventory, and cleaned equipment in a fast paced environment.

Worked 40 hours a week from 6 am until 2:30 pm, assisting in seismic renovations at PCC Sylvania Campus. Secured construction zones to ensure cleanliness, safety, and preparedness for the next day’s crew.

Lived and worked on outdoor job sites with other young people. The work we performed included trail renovation and invasive species management.
