Dan is currently a MBA candidate at the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia seeking a summer internship in management consultingDan's previous professional experience includes being the finance director for multiple credit card portfolios at multiple banks. He was in charge of evaluating marketing strategies and evaluating acquisition bonuses to maximize growth of new accounts. Additionally, he leveraged data softwares, such as Tableau and Alteryx, to generate presentations with senior management internally and externally. In his most current role, he performed financial analysis through discounted cash flow and historical transactions to evaluate bank's $400M purchase of the Luxury Card portfolio. Finally, he generated models to analyze bank's future partner payments under current contract terms and constructed pitch book to renegotiate new terms with partner, saving approximately $10M per year. Outside of his experience in finance he was a Director of Coaching at a local soccer club, responsible for growth of our boys program. He initiated a new unique training model and refined the club's coaching curriculum, which increased enrollment by 45%. Lastly, he managed a team of 6 coaches and assisted in the strategic plan to acquire another soccer club in our region.
