• Planning, marketing and supervising events on UTSC’s fields and tennis courts, such as UTSC’s Terry Fox Run and a youth baseball event in conjunction with the Blue Jays Care Foundation.
• Researching important information and drafting reports for the Director and Associate Director, including research on Mental Health and Wellness programs at other universities, Aquatics programming, Sport Management.

• Creating event operational plans and completing various other pre-event preparatory work, such as securing venue space for tournaments, fundraising, creating schedules for teams and officials, physically setting up the.
• Assistance with daily operations involved with the various events that the NSC was involved with, such as transportation, timekeeping, reporting of results and compensating officials.

• Responsible for the completion and distribution of sixteen Economic Impact Assessment reports, reporting over 21 million dollars of ‘economic impact’ on the region. Included in this process was:
• Contacting the organizations prior to hosting an event and determining which information would be the most beneficial to that particular organization.
• Organizing a team of volunteers and interns to assist with survey collection.
• Creating a survey to capture the desired information, and then capturing the data at the event.
• Compiling all of the information into a comprehensive report for the use of the hiring organization.

• Completing of daily office and administrative duties, such as:
• Assisting with the setup and operations of various events organized by the NSC. Such duties included the creation of operational plans and the set-up/take-down of venues.
• Attracting fundraising for events, which included attracting three different sponsors to contribute over $1250 to the 2011 Ontario Basketball Association’s Provincial Championships, held in Niagara.
