Responsibilities/Experience:• Supervision of multiple drilling rigs with hands-on geological and geotechnical logging of cored and chipped sections, geophysical interpretation and coal sampling.• Fast and accurate data management, GIS modeling, geological reporting and stratigraphic modeling.• Contributing to a large exploration project by providing geological data derived from mid-to-high depth HQ, 4C, 8C, Sonic and chip boreholes.• Quick, accurate and detailed geological logging of highly varied strata, excellent coal brightness profiling.• Geotechnical, Point-Load, Gas, and Ply sampling and dispatching, including experience of conducting Point-Load Tests and Gas Bombs. • Interpreting geophysics to correct and validate bore hole data• Using Logcheck software.• Involvement in the preparation and rehabilitation of drill sites• Training new starters in specific methods used in the industry• Good relationships with colleagues and drill crews leading to an increased knowledge of drilling programs.• Minor supervisory experience in an Office-based Environment in Singleton, NSW.
