About Daniel Snaddon
As an animator, story artist, director, and most recently an EP, I've played instrumental roles in delivering a number of world class animated projects to audiences across the globe.Amongst my accolades are an Annie and 2 Children's and Young People's BAFTA's for both Best Animation and Best Directing for our TV Special, "The Snail & The Whale", an International Emmy for "Zog" and an Emile Award for best animation for "Roald Dahl's Revolting Rhymes."I've most recently completed my 4th BBC Special, "The Smeds and the Smoos" for Magic Light Pictures, directing a great team at Blue Zoo Animation Studios. We premiered after the King's Speech on Christmas day and bought in over 9.5m viewers for the BBC over the season. The special has gone on to win an International Emmy for animation, as well as The Prix Jeunesse and The Japan Prize for Pre-School programming in 2023.
