I interned at Meta over the summer of my junior year in college as a Data Scientist, working with the Family Ecosystems team. My project involved analyzing the existing, organic flow of Virtual Reality experiences to content shareable on the Meta Family of Apps (Instagram, Whatsapp, Facebook). The ultimate goal was to aid the Bridges-to-the-Metaverse team in their efforts to integrate Horizonworlds, Meta's endeavor into the VR world, with the Family of Apps into one entity known as the Metaverse. My project involved running queries on Meta's databases using SQL and visualizing the data using Python and MATLAB to generate insights and produce high impact recommendations.

I conducted research on the Cytochrome c4 protein found in the bacterium Pseudomonas aeruginosa with professor Ekaterina Pletneva at Dartmouth's Chemistry Department. The goal of the research program was to optimize the structure of cytochrome-c4 by running simulations on it using the programs VMD and NAMD, and then identifying all the protein residues that had shifted by a significant distance.

The program itself was known as Facebook University, and it introduced my to the tech world through a rigorous Data Analysis training program. I worked with Facebook Reels, which at the time was in its infancy. My main task involved analyzing tool usage and defining metrics to track which gauge their success. The findings which I made lent themselves to impactful recommendations on how to increase tool usage. I worked with SQL and python in order to query data and visualize it in order to draw meaningful insights
