As a Program manager, I manage WRCOG's Regional Streetlight Program and currently leading development of two planning projects, including the Smart Streetlight Implementation Plan & Broadband Assessment, as well as the Western Riverside County Energy Resilience Plan. I also create, update, and maintain Geographic Information System (GIS) maps and data utilizing ArcGIS Online, create invoices and payment schedules, manage O&M billing, manage financing activities and assist member agencies with compliance and requirements of the financing agreements, conduct research on smart city technologies, monitor and provide written reports on streetlight maintenance work orders and maintenance activities, and manage streetlight maintenance projects. I also write staff reports, studies, memos, news articles, and other written materials related to the Streetlight Program and Western Riverside County Energy Resiliency Plan; Monitor state and legislative activities related to WRCOG’s Energy programs and streetlight program priorities; Work collaboratively with local government staff, capital providers, IOU staff, contractors and consultants on energy and streetlight-related work. Conducting research on municipal programs and develop similar programs in the City while applying regulatory standards and Best Practices Develop a Dashboard used to track new developments as they go through the City’s Planning, Engineering, and Building & Safety Departments for permitting. Learn the regulatory standards and process for CEQA and Municipal Codes for Dashboard project. Implement regional programs for the homeless and homeless sustainability. Coordinate meetings and plans for homeless program with multiple municipalities. Attend City Council meetings and give presentations to Councilmembers, as well as legislative updates from various representatives. Conduct a G.I.S. mapping project using ArcGIS-Lite software to locate and label LS-2 streetlights throughout Western Riverside County and within WRCOG’s jurisdictions and service area. Make presentations on the health and environmental impacts from affected air quality due to the goods movement industry throughout Southern California. Conduct research on air quality and mitigation measures for sensitive areas such as schools, communities, civic centers, and residential and commercial areas.

Assist campaign manager and candidate with canvassing door-to-door and/or through the phone, managing volunteers, and attend community events where the candidate would be present. Work directly with residents and taxpayers to address issues with the City or any other issues in the neighborhoods, and then relay the issues for our candidate to address at civic events. Use NGP VAN software to keep online voter database updated with diagrams for canvassing, cutting turf on maps, and online phone banking while concurrently going door-to-door canvassing. Meet deadlines for important voting dates and periods for canvassing, phone banking, and attending respective political events. Train volunteers on canvassing etiquette and how to communicate well with constituents. Record complaints from various members of the community and report them back to our candidate to address in future civic events.

Host hourly informational sessions for customers on Sears Vacations and the benefits of the program.
