Program Manager
CurrentAs a Program manager, I manage WRCOG's Regional Streetlight Program and currently leading development of two planning projects, including the Smart Streetlight Implementation Plan & Broadband Assessment, as well as the Western Riverside County Energy Resilience Plan. I implemented and currently manage the WRCOG Regional Streetlight Program which includes assisted eleven local government agencies with the acquisition of over 53,000 streetlights from Southern California Edison, secured financing with capital providers, managed a regional LED streetlight retrofit, and continue to provide administrative services and a regional streetlight operations & maintenance services. As part of the Program I currently manage multiple consultants and contractors that provide financial advisory services, streetlight O&M services, and development of the Smart Streetlight Implementation Plan & Broadband Assessment. I also create, update, and maintain Geographic Information System (GIS) maps and data utilizing ArcGIS Online, create invoices and payment schedules, manage O&M billing, manage financing activities and assist member agencies with compliance and requirements of the financing agreements, conduct research on smart city technologies, monitor and provide written reports on streetlight maintenance work orders and maintenance activities, and manage streetlight maintenance projects. I also write staff reports, studies, memos, news articles, and other written materials related to the Streetlight Program and Western Riverside County Energy Resiliency Plan; Monitor state and legislative activities related to WRCOG’s Energy programs and streetlight program priorities; Work collaboratively with local government staff, capital providers, IOU staff, contractors and consultants on energy and streetlight-related work. Since 2020, I am managing the $200,000 California Resilience Challenge grant WRCOG received to develop the Western Riverside County Energy Resilience Plan.
