I was one of the lab's Ph.D. assistants, and I helped with extra tasks around the lab! I worked on a project editing out prophage regions in Bifidobacteria to prevent the bacteria from producing phages under stress. I was also working on a project using TXTL to test L. Salivarius native type I, II, and III CRISPR systems by measuring GFP repression.
