Daniel Speelman is a Technical Artist at StatusPro at StatusPro. Colleagues describe him as "Dan is an exceptionally skilled artist who not only creates assets of the highest quality, but can also communicate on a technical level what is required to bring those assets to life. In fact, Dan’s technical ability is such that he was oftentimes able to do it himself. I worked with Dan for almost four years in the Interaction Lab at Magic Leap. The longer I worked with him, the more I discovered just how vast the depth of his knowledge was in all things relating to game development. Our team periodically had week-long “jams” to explore a variety of interactions and Dan was always the first person I wanted on my team. Need a complex shader that reacts dynamically to collision events on the world mesh? Ask Dan. Need it done before the end of day? Ask Dan. Time and time again, Dan proved himself to be an incredibly creative and collaborative teammate who moved at the speed of light. This made him someone I could rely on in a pinch and someone I would go to for advice on anything art related. Dan is an artist and teammate of the highest caliber and someone I would not hesitate to work with again."
