The university was admitted to the NAIA, competing in the California Pacific Conference (Cal Pac) since the 2019–20 academic year. They are also a member of the NCCAA.✦ Took on a dual role as director of athletics and head baseball coach.✦ Used leadership, relationship development, and problem-solving skills to spearhead record development for the entire athletic department, including growing the baseball program from 15 athletes to a peak of ~50 and average of 40+ student-athletes during tenure.✦ Built the athletic culture, overall philosophy, and long-term vision. UCR's sports teams play in the Big West Conference of the NCAA Division I The baseball program has won two Division II national championships, appeared in four Division II College World Series and 12 NCAA Tournaments (two in Division I). It has won eight California Collegiate Athletic Association championships and one Big West Conference championship.
