I am a Native of Denver Colorado. I have over twenty years experience of direct involvement with Indigenous Mexican art and philosophy. I have designed curriculums to teach the Aztec/Mayan calendar systems and seek to integrate native beliefs into our education system. Most of the advances in human society over the last 200 years have been through great influences in the natural worldview that Native American societies have imparted. I work in local community development and I believe strongly in the Promotora de Salud model. I participate in a statewide initiative to engage community health workers into the state's healthcare system and I am actively seeking to engage the local residents of my neighborhood into a functional advocacy group that can help to improve conditions in our city.
