Reporting to 5 GP Directors, responsibilities include:•Overseeing day-to-day operations general business administration incl. management of finances, allocation of human/fiscal resources, performance monitoring and reporting•Developing and maintaining business governance structures, providing clearly define terms for collaborations between our member and with other local providers •Managing relationships with and on behalf of members, representing their interests as well as holding them account to their contractual responsibilities•Developing proposals to secure new income streams and negotiating the terms of existing/expiring contracts •Co-ordinating the delivering of new healthcare service contracts and strategic projects •Using business intelligence to develop sustainable collaborative strategies designed to improve business performance and resilienceThis role requires:•Rapid learning of new industry information to meeting the continually changing regulatory and compliance demands of a business delivering NHS service contracts •The ability to garner trust and credibility with stakeholders for them to invest, resource and deliver new services that may go against their traditional ways of working •The ability to manage a broad workload, prioritise and utilise scarce resources in a very turbulent and challenging environment Highlights include:•Setting up and running a limited business•Successful business plan to secure investment of £350k start-up capital•Managing a highly talented, diverse and ambitious team of health professionals•Successful design and implementation of several new services delivered in a new “federated” way of working which have delivered positive outcomes for the members and their patients •Offer of an extended contract based on strong performance Show less
