Developing the Jericho project and advancing regional exploration targets

Work in greenfield and brownfield exploration looking for IOCG, sed hosted and Au deposits.

Working for Group Discovery and Geosciences, we are looking for the next big IOCG deposits in Queensland and Ni-Cu-PGE in SW Yilgarn.Project lead for Diamantina 2021 - 2023

I manage a large team of contractors to plan and carry out the exploration and gas compliance drilling at Grasstree and Aquila underground mines. Main responsibilities include permitting, training junior staff, planning exploration program, ensuring all staff are trained, authorised and competent, performing JSAs and WRACs, ensuring the work place is safe and that the team and I work towards a zero harm environment.

Contracted to the Capcoal mine for Anglo American.Field responsibilities include gas compliance, cultural heritage, rig supervision, Q1 gas testing and coal quality sampling. Office responsibilities include geophysical corrections using DAT tool in Acquire and sample management.Signed off as a supervisor at the Grasstree underground mine in August 2017.

During my time in the Ivory Coast I worked on a number of greenfield projects. I conducted soil, rock and channel sampling with outcrop, subcrop and float mapping to create Au targets and geological maps of the permits. Using ioGAS and Mapinfo with the data from sampling and mapping we initiated a first phase of drilling in two prospects; 15 diamond drill holes at Kokumbo and 52 RC holes at Boundiali.

Working with Toro Gold Ltd on my MSc thesis on the Mako gold deposit, Senegal, focusing on soil geochemistry and K, Th and U, Total Count and Ternary radiometric images over the permit, Airborne magnetic data, VTEM electromagnetic airborne data with massive ICP and XRF data to create an integrated model of Au mineralisation in ArcGIS 10.

Undertaken cable percussive and borehole logging/sampling, CPT interpretation, water profiling, rig supervision, core logging, piezo installation, tri-axial testing and packer tests in the field.Undertaken report writing, QAQC, data entry and CPT corrections in the office and used Festerr and Uniplot geotechnical programs. During my time at Dalradian Gold I worked on their flagship Curraghinalt mesothermal project logging and sampling sulphide zones on current holes. I also worked on historic holes to boost the resource potential by sampling each sulphide complex, using this data I could see the extent of each mineralized zone.

Worked offshore on survey vessels in the North Sea and Norwegian Sea conducting geotechnical and geological site surveys using CPT's and vibrocores for pipelines, oil rigs, wind farms, cable lines and port extensions. Clients included Maersk, Statoil, Senergy and Bluewater. Some geotechnical testing was conducted offshore such as shear vein and moisture content testing. Further geotechnical testing was also carried out in the lab such as Atterberg limit testing, point load testing and moisture content testing.
