I'm a Town Planner by training, interested in planning, climate change and renewable energy.I'm working for the Centre for Sustainable Energy in Bristol, formerly as a chartered town planner, now as more of a policy wonk. I know about: planning policies and energy reduction in new buildings, retrofit, including historic buildings, renewable energy, community engagement and the inner workings of local government. I and am getting to know more about the retrofit sector, fuel poverty, grid reinforcement, energy flexibility and national policy making. I'm most interested in building informed consent for the change we need and the ability of civic society and local government to build on national efforts to tackle the climate crisis. I'm a good talker, facilitator, idea generator and link maker.
