Senior Director, Operations Oversee the daily operations of Engineering, Plant Operations and Customer Operations groups located in 3 states. Successfully implemented Voice over IP, Hosted PBX services and resale of cellular services which resulted in revenue growth for the company. Responsible for managing outsourced operation of phone service implementation and traffic for a large national Cable TV provider in Maine, with growth from 30,000 to 110,000 lines in 4 years. Managed a $3,500,000 annual Capital Budget and $5,500,000 yearly expense budget. Selected accomplishments: Successful implementation of new technology and products. Successful expansion of CLEC operating area from Maine to 2 other New England states.  Lowered cost of goods to provide service while maintaining quality of service. Cost effective modernization of company network with new technology. Maintained maximum uptime of Santera One soft switch which provides access tandem functionality for Pine Tree Networks 7,700 retail and 120,000 wholesale customers. Maintained agreed upon Voice Service Levels for wholesale service to large national Cable TV wholesale customer.

Oversee the daily operations of several groups including an Engineering Support Group consisting of 8 Engineers, a DMS-250 Long Distance network central office and Toll Free service provisioning. Direct the resolution of potentially catastrophic issues on a national basis. Monitor metrics for telephony, data and cable systems on HFC plant to insure they are within tolerance. Direct all phases of alarm surveillance and remote access Wide Area Network (WAN) implementation from design to cutover. Responsible for $4,000,000 annual corporate wide maintenance agreement budget.Selected accomplishments: Successfully implemented Tier – 2 field support group in less than one year. Built corporate wide alarm and remote access network in 11 months instead of 18 months allowing for proactive system monitoring and savings of $250,000 per year in technician travel costs and overtime.  Implemented strategies that saved the company over $100,000 in network migrations. Provided effective communication between company and Joint Business Ventures. Maintained 100% availability of DMS-250 central office for 5 years straight.

Managed tier-2 support for all corporate wide systems including central offices, PBX and key systems, data services including ATM switches, power plant systems, voicemail systems, fiber optic plant and terminals and network transport equipment. Responsible for disaster recovery restoration support for company wide customer base.
