• Provided assistance to veterans at the Chicago Summer Standdown (a semi-annual event where community organizations provide medical, dental, legal, job, and other support to homeless veterans) in June of 2012.
• Coordinating to provide on-site legal aid at the Jesse Brown VA Hospital for hospitalized veterans starting Fall of 2012 with a minimum goal of once per semester and a stretch goal of once per month.
• Coordinating with the Dean, College of Law and the Assistant Dean for Clinics in the efforts to develop a Veteran’s Legal Clinic at DePaul.
• Coordinating with the Director of DePaul’s Counseling Center to and a VA Veteran’s Center to provide PTSD specific counseling for DePaul’s student veterans.
• Managed a “Hobbies for Heroes” charity drive donating over $450 in crafts to the Jesse Brown VA Hospital for hospitalized veterans in Spring of 2012.
• Coordinated student support of the VA’s Annual Veteran’s Valentines’ Day Concert as a Donate-A-Day Event providing over 50-volunteer hours to the concert honoring veterans in Spring of 2012.

• Researched legal issues and wrote legal memorandums on: the admission of a coroner’s toxicology reports in a products liability case; conflicts of interests for city council members owning property in a special tax.
• Researched legal issues on the use of VA loan guarantees as collateral for a major multimillion contract for a client.

• Researched legal issues in Chapter 11 bankruptcy reorganization cases.

• Led HR support and the General Staff for the Commanding General of the NATO-led Dayton Peace Accords Multi-National Logistics Command responsible for the coordination of all logistics operations in Bosnia-Herzegovina.
• Downsized Fort Riley from 15,000 to 10,000 personnel; and re-aligned the remaining 10,000 personnel into combat effective units in 6-months; 2-months ahead of the Department of Defense schedule – freeing up critical.
