Daniel Tamene has over fifteen years of experience working with private and Nongovernmental organisations in administration and finance roles.He oversees and ensures regular and complete financial reporting from partners including consistency between partners’ financial reports and grant agreements. He supports on the development budgets and trains and coaches staff members of partner organisations to increase their overall financial governance capabilities, whilst ensuring that all funds sent to partner organisations are reported on in accordance with the agreement.As a field administrator for Intersos, he was stationed in Jonglei state of the South Sudan for fourteen months overseeing five projects funded by UNHCR, UNICEF, and IOM- tasked with the overall logistics work at the state level with coordination level representation in the absence of the state programs coordinator. This has enabled him to identify with and analyse the challenges of education and livelihood in the conflict and post-conflict communities, especially in emergency response.Daniel is skilled in recruiting, negotiation, research, coordination, technology and communications. He holds an MA in Peace Studies, from the University of Bradford, Bachelors of Arts in Political Science and International Relations from Addis Ababa University and completed the course work for an MA in Human Rights and Conflict Management from Scuola Superiore Sant’ Anna, in Pisa-Italy. Daniel's major working experience draws upon his diploma in Accounting with a Minor in Business Management, from Addis Ababa Commercial College.
