Systems EngineerJob Duties Include - Install new or rebuild existing servers both physical and virtual and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. - Contribute to and maintain best practice standards in server and application infrastructure Serves as Storage Administrator in support of Nimble Storage array, VMware, Citrix servers, and Microsoft Windows. - Manage Barracuda Backup Appliances, Web filters, email securities and email archives. - VMware, including provisioning vm clones and templates, creation of data stores, snapshots, physical server consolidation - Cisco UCS configuration of Blades, Service Profiles, IP Pools, Firmware update packages, UCS Templates, etc. - Windows RDS administration, design/implementation. - Perform daily system monitoring, maintain all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs in production and disaster recovery sites - Provide Tier Ill/other support per request from various service desk technicians. - Apply OS patches and upgrades. Configure and add new services as necessary. - Perform periodic performance reporting to support capacity planning - Produce and maintain system and network documentation - Active Directory, DNS, DHCP Setup, Configuration, and Management Microsoft Exchange Configuration and Management Microsoft SQL Configuration and Management - Provide 24x7 support for all IT infrastructure. - Manage support vendors.Primary Technical Skills - VMWare - Microsoft SQL Administration - Backup Strategist (Zerto, VMWare, SQL, MS Servers) - SAN experience (Nimble Storage Array) - Microsoft Windows Server support - Microsoft SQL - Security Software - Varonis, Rapid7, and Darktrace - Disaster Recovery planning and execution - Barracuda Email\Firewall Admin
