Daniel has extensive post-doctoral research experience on rural health, rural workforce, and chronic-ill health. With a background in health, his current research interest are rural pharmacist, nursing and physician recruitment and retention, nursing student career trajectory, rural health employment and profession longevity, while he has an keen interest in improving paediatric injury, paediatric asthma, and understanding parental decision making when seeking care at the time of an emergency. Daniel also undertakes research examining Grit, student retention, and student supervision models in health care.
