As the Lead Architect for a newly formed Platform Management team, I lead cloud migration and DevOps transformation efforts for Workplace Solutions. A core focus of my effort is to put the infrastructure and tooling in place to enable self-sufficient teams. Reducing the need for dev teams to re-create the wheel while allowing modifications to fit their specific needs is critical for a successful DevOps organization.

Worked as a Solutions Architect, providing architectural support and technical guidance to teams across Group Protection. Through code reviews and additional dialog, I coached teams on practices including REST-based microservices, Clean Code, Test Driven Development (TDD), and CI/CD.Consulting with EA and Cloud Engineering, I worked on the initial buildout of Group Protection's AWS accounts and related CI/CD pipelines. This included the creation of ECS clusters for the bulk of GPs services currently running in an on-prem Docker environment.

After the Liberty Mutual Benefits acquisition by Lincoln Financial, I acted as a technical lead to ensure the successful migration of apps/services between the two environments. Working with Lincoln's infrastructure team, I drove the setup of delivery tooling (Atlassian suite) and consulted on our on-prem Docker cluster. I additionally worked with dev teams providing technical guidance throughout the migration.

As a DevOps team, we were responsible for building multiple REST-based microservices deployed to an AWS ECS environment. Mentored junior team members in practices including DevOps, Microservices Architectures, TDD, and CI/CD. Originally a very junior team requiring a lot of guidance, this team became one of the more mature and sought-after teams within LMB.
